Editor,NGOs are generally registered on expressed understanding that they are going to help improve the living conditions of the poor.However, there is a big concern that some NGO officials are misusing the funds or use it to enrich themselves and their relatives.They receive billions but very little is spent on the intended beneficiaries. How are they held accountable? I suggest their funders should be more involved or else their money will continue to be misappropriated with impunity.Mansur AliKimihurura
