Peter keeps wondering why his girlfriend Maureen always picks two forks of food and claims she is satisfied even after repeated complaints of being hungry. ‘’She will complain of hunger but when we get to a restaurant or hotel, she orders and then just takes a fork and before you know it, she’s full! This surely keeps me wondering why she does that,” says Peter. Sincerely speaking, why would someone order what they won’t finish? Worse still, sometimes it is self service at a buffet and still someone cannot finish the food they served themselves. One may think it’s cool but it’s not. Eating is not something that is embarrassing unless one eats like a famine had erupted for some time. But it is unacceptable for someone to fail to eat even half of what they have served themselves unless they are sick. What happens at the date Going out for dinner with a spouse does not only mean being smartly dressed in super high stilettos and cool dresses but it is also when spouses learn more about each other. Try to be your best and keep it in mind that there is someone else in your presence. This habit of guys piling plates as if they are building a mountain is not pleasant at all; it totally sends a bad signal to the partner. And if she has not said yes to your proposal yet, you might find yourself in her little black book. This is a two way thing, for the guys who think- ‘I am a man, so I can eat as much as I want’, no way, try to be impressive and eat just enough to keep you going. Same goes for the ladies; it is not attractive at all to eat as if it is an eating competition. Trust me, the guy will find the quickest route out of your life. I have this friend who always complains about his girlfriend’s eating habits, starting with the amount of food she consumes to her table manners. ‘’It is so upsetting; Sharon eats like she has been starving for a decade. Even when we are out on a date, she eats like she is on gun point, yet we have all the time in the world. She forgets she is a lady and this sucks,’’ says Andre.
