Dear Editor, I am expressing my concern about fuel prices and our economic ambitions. Over the weekend, I came to learn that fuel prices had increased again from Frw726 to Frw759. The last time fuel prices increased, transport fares were increased too to make the transportation business profitable for owners. But later on last month, prices of cooking fuel increased as per the article in The New times by Eddie Mukaaya, which the state minister for industry and investment promotion, Vincent Karega justifiably explained well. This time round, we are yet to have any explanation for the increase and as far as we (citizens) are concerned, this increase might push prices of essential commodities high. The government subsidises but still things seem to be falling out of control. Something needs to be done to check this trend. Concerned citizen Kiyovu, Kigali
