FORMER Super Eagles coach, Sebastian Broderick, has warned Nigeria not to underestimate Rwanda in the upcoming 2013 Africa Nations Cup first leg qualifier. “It would be childish to underestimate Rwanda because they are a good team as we have seen in the last few months,” Broderick said. “It’s important for Stephen Keshi (current Super Eagles coach) and his lads to prepare well for the game.” In the build-up to the qualifier, Nigeria has lined up friendly matches against Angola (January 11) and Liberia (January 14). The Super Eagles are one of three heavyweights to miss out on a place at this year’s Nations Cup, which will be co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. The others are Egypt and Cameroon. bonnie.mugabe@newtimes.co.rw
