Rwanda international Sven Kalisa says he is proud to see his country putting the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi's behind them and start from scratch to rebuild a united nation. Kalisa was born in Luxembourg to Rwandan parents and has been capped internationally by Rwanda. It has been 29 years, I was not born in Rwanda but my parents told me it was terrible and It's been a long time but it feels like it was yesterday,” Kalisa told Times Sport.
