US-Rwanda TIFA council convenes in Washington

The US-Rwanda Trade and Investment Framework Agreements (TIFA) council  commenced discussions to increase and diversify trade through the exploitation of existing partnerships as well as boost opportunities for US direct investments to Rwanda. A delegation led by the Minister of trade and industry, Francois Kanimba, CEO of RDB John Gara and Ambassador of Rwanda to USA, James Kimonyo, Thursday, opened the talks under the Investments Council Meeting, which ended with an exchange of the Bilateral Investment Treaty with Ambassador Ron Kirk who represented the US.
