APR coach Ben Moussa has warned his players that the title race is far from over despite his side leading the chase with six more games to play. The league leaders showed their title credentials as Aime Placide Rwabuhihi’s 95th minute header completed a late comeback from a goal down to beat Bugesera FC 2-1 in Nyamata on Sunday and maintain their lead in the title race with 52 points from 24 matches. Moussa may be happy that his side is leading the race with a two-point lead ahead of second-placed Kiyovu and six points clear of Rayon Sports who are third with 46 points but admits that the lead does not guarantee them the title until the last day of the campaign. “The battle for the title is still on because realistically even Rayon Sports (third) are still in the race. Of course, we are ahead of them by six points but our aim is to win all our remaining games if we are to win the title,” he said. “Many things will happen between now and the end of the season. I have the feeling that teams will drop points but we need to avoid doing the same if we want to stay at the top,” he added The League will be put on hold as Rwanda enters the commemoration week which kicks off on April 6 and concludes on April 13.
