New Governor takes office

The newly appointed Governor of the Eastern Province, Odette Uwamariya, Tuesday promised to work tirelessly to enhance development in the province during the official handover ceremony at the provincial headquarters in Rwamagana. “I was humbled by the appointment ...consequently I owe the people performance, which I will do. I commend the work done by my predecessors particularly the outgoing Governor, Aisa Kirabo Kakira. I will pick from where she left and do even more,” Uwamariya said.
