PM to make maiden appearance in Parliament

Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi is scheduled to appear before Parliament today afternoon to present the government’s agenda, according to the House’s programme released last evening. This will be his first appearance since his appointment earlier last month. When contacted yesterday, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Protais Musoni, said he could not divulge details, but noted that “more or less, it would be in line with President Paul Kagame’s manifesto during the 2010 general election.
