Beware of counterfeit phones on Kigali streets

Editor,  Through your newspaper, allow me to warn the public about the increasing number of counterfeit products sold by hawkers in Kigali City. Last week, I encountered a man near the Kigali city centre mosque with several Nokia phones.  He approached me and he was willing to let it go for a paltry Rwf20, 000. Excited by the cheap offer, I bought it. But a few days later, when I tried to call, the battery went off. When I tried to charge it, it jammed. I bought a new battery but this too, could not help!
