Dear editor, If the High Council of the Press (HCP) has rolled the ball, judicial actions on ‘UMUCO’ should follow forthwith. Having swiftly identified the defamation ‘Umuco’ editor made towards the President and other high profile leaders, Rwanda Association of Journalists (RAJ) should stand firm to supply justice with all it requires. Journalists will then learn to associate their professional careers on credible and well thought-out coverage, given the fact that whoever messes-up, will be aware of what awaits him or her. Time has come for journalist to operate under professional codes that prohibits a journalist from acting out of sentiments but out of facts. Let justice take a lead to direct media practitioners what to do in reference to laws that govern this country. Kicukiro-Kigali
