Teachers want civic education included in curriculum

Teachers in Musanze and Nyabihu districts are calling for Civic education to be included in school curriculums. “Civic education should be allocated time like other subjects,’’ said Jean Pierre, Kamanzi, a teacher in the area. Kamanzi, made the remarks during the closure of a workshop on civic education attended by over 130 political science teachers from secondary schools in the two districts, Wednesday.
