The beauty of learning

“Learning is a progressive discovery of our ignorance.”—Anonymous quote. In essence, the first step towards learning is to know that we are ignorant. Most of the time we drift through life thinking that we know a lot, but how can we know if  we cannot accept the bitter truth that we are born ignorant. To learn, you must be able to ask questions. During the ancient times, our ancestors worshiped the moon as their gods. They would sometimes offer innocent people as sacrifices to appease their so called gods. Then some started asking themselves questions like; “What is this round shinny thing we call our god?” Only then did they learn that it was just a planet with rocks and sand just like earth. Your ability to learn depends on your willingness to let your mind wonder.
