Gakenke Genocide victims accorded decent burial
GAKENKE - Remains of about 200 victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Gakenke District, were on Monday accorded a befitting burial at the Ruli Genocide Memorial in Ruli Sector.Remains of 16 victims were discovered by residents from separate locations, while 182 had been buried at inappropriate places and various cemeteries and laid to rest at the new site.
