The 4th edition of the Tour de Kigali cycling event has been postponed from this weekend to the next, Rwanda Cycling Federation (RCF) officials have confirmed. The annual cycling season opener had been scheduled for today but organizers were forced to reschedule it to next Sunday on advice of the national police. We have been urged by the National traffic Police to reschedule the Tour to another date, probably after this Easter weekend because traffic is expected to be high on the city roads, RCF secretary general Thierry Rwabusaza told Times Sport yesterday. The event had already attracted a strong sponsorship team that includes, among others, the ministry of sports, Coca Cola, Ameki color, Nyirangarama and Sonarwa. Ends
