The single which has over 100, 000 views on YouTube in its first week, is produced in the new wave of afro-pop that is taking over local airwaves. ‘Vanilla’ - Marina The afro-beat queen of Kigali, Marina, is back at the top of the game after dropping ‘Vanilla’ which is currently the number one Rwandan track on different streaming platforms including YouTube and Spotify. ‘Vanilla’ follows Marina’s hit songs such as ‘Ok’ featuring Li John and ‘Shawe’ among many others. ‘A Lot’ - Logan Joe Rapper and driller Joe Logan who started music in 2018 after featuring on different drill songs has given his fans a new song titled ‘A Lot’ that might appear on his first EP (Extended Play). The song was produced by Logan’s long-time collaborator Zed who is also behind big tracks like ‘Whateva’ and ‘Ndi Good’, among others. ‘Ninja’ - Nillan Nillan continues to show potential to be the next pop star in Rwanda’s music industry, and his new track ‘Ninja’ proves it. Produced by Spaceman in afro-fusion, ‘Ninja’ is one of the most popular tracks in pubs and clubs around Kigali, as well as other social gatherings. ‘Nasara’ – Danny Nanone ft. Ariel Wayz Danny Nanone is back after graduating from Nyundo School of Art and Music. His return comes with a new hit track dubbed ‘Nasara’ which features Ariel Wayz. Produced by Bob Pro, ‘Nasara’ has close to one million views on YouTube in less than a month.
