I hereby congratulate you guys for such a tough work you are doing. Your investigations are really interesting, but I think it is not fair to identify some names in your stories for example the story about one of Minicofin director accused of rape. Did you consider the innocent members of his family say his children? How can they feel after hearing about such allegations about their father? What about the victim? Do you think after being published like a rape victim, will she get a husband or freely fit in the society? Think about it. Otherwise, thank you for such a hard work. KIM KIZITO city radio Dear Kizito, We do appreciate your concerns. But whereas it is indeed regrettable for having published the name of the alleged victim, as a media house wewould find it extremely difficult not to reveal the identity of the suspect, other consequences notwithstanding. We however apologise to the victim, yourself and the generalpublic for publishing the name of the alleged victim, and affirm our commitment to the protection of rape victims and the vulnerable. Ends
