Rwanda to set up One Stop Centre for good governance

A bill to set up the Rwanda Governance Board will soon be promulgated into law to pave way for the creation of a One Stop centre for good governance. According to James Musoni, the Minister of Local Government, the establishment of the board is mainly aimed at promoting the principles of good governance and decentralisation, monitor the practices of good governance in public institutions and conduct research-related domains. Rwanda Governance Board will be created through the merger of National Decentralisation Implementation Secretariat and the Rwanda Governance Advisory Council (RGAC).
