Irene Rosenfeld (58 years, United States, Business)Irene Blecker Rosenfeld, born on May 3, 1953 is the Chairman and CEO of Kraft Foods. Rosenfeld has worked for 25 years in the food and beverage industry. In 2004, Rosenfeld was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, where she focused on promoting healthy products. Rosenfeld was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kraft Foodsin June 2006. She was appointed to the additional post of Chairman in March 2007, following Altria Group’s spin-off of Kraft. 9. Christine Lagarde (55 years, France, Non-Profit) Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde, born on 1 January 1956 is a French lawyer and the managing director of the International Monetary Fund since July 5, 2011. Previously, she held various ministerial posts in the French government: she was Minister of Economic Affairs, Finances and Industry and before that Minister of Agriculture and Fishing and Minister of Trade in the government of Dominique de Villepin. Lagarde was the first woman ever to become minister of Economic Affairs of a G8 economy, and is the first woman to ever head the IMF. On 28 June 2011, she was named as the next managing director of the International Monetary Fund for a five-year term, starting on 5 July 2011 replacing Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Dilma Vana Rousseff (63 years, Brazil, President)Born December 14, 1947, she is the 36th and current President of Brazil. She is the first woman to hold the office. Prior to that, in 2005, she was also the first woman to become Chief of Staff of Brazil, appointed by then President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Rousseff came from being minister of energy to run for President, in April 2010.[2] She was elected in a run-off on 31 October 2010. She is the first female elected President of Brazil, in addition to being the first economist elected for the office. 2.
