FICTION: Lifelong flame

When my phone went off, I picked it without bothering to check who the caller was, the first ‘hello’ made my heart skip a beat! The silky-smooth familiar voice tickled my inner being! It was Tina, a lady who introduced to me the desire of the flesh at a very tender age, taught me the art of seduction, the power of eye contact years, and the magic of listening. Besides being the most beautiful female I had ever laid my eyes on, at 19 Tina was also more experienced and endowed than Sharon Stone and Pamela Anderson put together. She had travelled, well-read and practiced but that wasn’t the reason I secretly worshipped her. What made her a mystery was that she was the best singer Christ the King church choir had ever known! She was the sole reason I went to church every Sunday . Tina’s parents and mine were for lack of words what you’d call best friends. Though I was only fourteen, whenever our paths crossed, she’d hold me captive with her seductive x-ray eyes and tease me on how I’d grown into a very fine lad. On her 19th birthday, Tina lost both her parents in a fatal accident! My dad took over the responsibility of raising her and her young kid brother. After the burial ceremony, she and her brother moved in with us, she was under shock; she spent days in her room totally withdrawn, my folks didn’t know how to deal with her; they decided to give her time to heal. I also didn’t know how to help! I’d go and seat beside her and read my books in total silence for hours. She slowly came back to being her self again. We would go for evening walks, holding hands in silence, enjoying each others company. She thanked me for being there for her. Though she was a couple of years older than me, we were tighter than a vice. One late afternoon she asked me if I had a girlfriend, when I said no, she laughed till she cried. “You see, there’s some fine lass I have a crush on, but I don’t know how to approach her,” I said. It’s then she started teaching me how to sweet-talk girls, she taught me what girls want. I followed and enjoyed my lessons and everything was going well till one evening, taking a break from pillow fighting, she leaned forward and whispered in my ears that it was time to put in practice what I’d been learning! The things we did, I doubted if even my elders knew a half of them, Tina was and still is rated as the wildest baddest sensual seductresses! When she recovered from the ordeal, she went back to her parent’s home and started running the family business. I, on the other side, was busy putting my newly acquired prowess in practice. First, I up-graded my game and went for the hottest chick at school campus. She was a class ahead of me. Conquering her earned me a rank that would be equivalent to sergeant in Vietnam’s army! Students form upper classes would come to me for advice and to help them write killer love letters. Word spread through the school and soon I was the second hot item (beside the chapattis at the canteen). I was the happiest son of a gun alive. During the second year, Tina turned 21, the same year she left to her parent’s home to run her family business. This gave us free time, we would meet every evening after school and she’d drop me at home. Tina had turned into one of the most beautiful and rich women in the country! When I was transferred to a boarding school, I thought this would severe or bruise our relationship but wapi! The lady would drive miles and come to check on me. Although visiting students at my new school was permitted only once a month, she used her charms to allure the headmaster and was permissible to visit and take me out whenever she pleased. I completed high school when she was still my mentor and tight pal.
