Indian community celebrates Independence Day
KIGALI - More than 500 Indians resident in Rwanda, yesterday gathered at UTEXRWA grounds in Kigali for a flag raising ceremony to celebrate the 65th anniversary of India’s independence The event was organized by the Indian Association of Rwanda (INAR).The chairman of the association, Dinesh Kalyan, hoisted the national flag and later on read out the Indian Prime Minister’s speech addressed to the nation on the eve of the Independence Day.
