Police unveil automobile inspection centre

KIGALI - The National Police Force on Wednesday officially inaugurated the Rwanda Automobile Inspection Centre in Remera, Kigali City. The Director of the centre, CIP Nicholas Kalisa, said that it has capacity to check the mechanical conditions of between 80 and 100 cars per day. He said it also has the capacity to conduct technical inspection of all the country’s 57, 000 vehicles. This multi-million centre which started its operations in January was constructed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and later handed over to the National Police Force.
