Dear editor,I am one of the foremost beef eaters. I don’t mind if I was traveling and found people selling meat and bought a piece. For sure meat is delicious and most you cannot agree with me more. But the problem is that passengers seated in a vehicle that is about to depart cannot tell exactly what kind of meat they are buying. As you travel from Kigali to Kampala there are several people who sell meat by the roadside. Unfortunately some of them sell meat of certain animals that we culturally do not eat, at least in east Africa. Then there is also the fear of food poisoning - we acnnot be sure of the sellers’ hygiene. Travelers are thus forewarned to eat the meat at their own risk! Mukarukundo TerezaKabeza
