Schools urged to be gender responsive

GISOZI - Teachers should pay attention to the specific requirements of both male and female students to create a favourable teaching and learning environment, an official with the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Rwanda chapter, said.Josephine Kobusingye Ruzindana, the FAWE Programme Officer in charge of scholarships and mentoring was speaking, yesterday, at the opening of a four-day workshop on gender responsive pedagogy at FAWE Girls' School at Gisozi.
