Language: Swahili (English subtitles) Na Wewe is set in Africa and revolves around the genocide occurring between the Hutus and Tutsis based on the civil wars in Burundi. In the movie, a truck full of people is stopped by rebels, who demand to know everybodys origins hence portrays the need for national identity cards. Na Wewe literary means, ‘you too’. Although its in French with English subtitles one is able to follow the storyline and understand the events in the movie. The double-act drama is about a traumatized Rwandan, Yvan (Shami Bizimana), and the sister, Justine (Ruth Shanel Nirere). Justine tries to help her brother as far as doing a blow job for a doctor who is supposed to treat Yvan. Amidst the help, Director Kivu Ruhorahoza introduces Balthazar (Hervé Kimenyi), an intelligent, ambitious young filmmaker whos trying to raise the money to shoot film he calls ‘The Cycle of the Cockroach’.
