National referral rehab centre in the offing

Kanombe Military Hospital will soon feature a rehabilitation centre for patients with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, fractures, intra-celebral bleeding and speech problems. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of next year. Dr Emmy Nkusi Agabe, a Neurosurgeon Consultant said that the establishment of the centre will be an opportunity to fortify healthcare service delivery in Rwanda.
