Have you ever thought of changing the décor in your home only to stare at a blank bank account? Yes, because life has become very expensive we can hardly save anything. Every penny that we earn either goes to school fees, house rent, house mortgage, car loan or paying for any other debt. And unfortunately as much as life is this hard, life has to continue. One of the necessary things in life is to have a roof on top of your head, but then sometimes a roof should not be just but the roof but a beautiful home. Every person wishes to have a beautiful and comfortable house to call a home. But then not every house can be a home, and not every home can be beautiful if the owners care less about it. A home can be comfortable if the owners decide that all is well and live a happy life. It can also be a beautiful home if the same owners put some effort in making it a dream home. I love beautiful homes because they can be such a wonderful place to retreat to after a long hard day. So one time as I was thinking about making a beautiful home and here I was staring at a blank bank statement, I decided to redecorate with what I have at home, only this time nothing new will be added but the trick was to move things around until I get the new desired look. When redecorating window treatment can go a long way in changing the house décor. Depending on the curtains that one has, some of these curtains can be used both inside and out. Meaning if one has been using only one side of the curtains, then it can be exciting to see how using the other side will be like. Only a few stitches and the curtains can be as good as new. Furniture can be moved around and played with until you get a new desired look. Remember if you are looking to make new changes, make sure to shift everything from its normal position to a new one, to attain the feel of a new place. If the wall paints are washable then it is also advised to wash the walls of your home, to give your walls a new startling fresh look. The walls get dirty because of the children, so sometimes no paint work need to be done really if the walls are maintained by occasional cleaning. Changing a bulb or two can be a great idea in the lighting department. Instead of having the normal ceiling lighting, a lamp shade can be moved from the bedroom to maybe the living room, to create a complete change. Wall hangings and any decorative item can be switched to a new position. For example if you have a flower vase which has always been placed on top of the wall unit, this can be switched to take place as a centre piece on the dining table. Move artwork or framed photos into different rooms. Remember to create groups by placing similar frames and similar subjects together. Bring potted plants and flowers from your garden if you have any into your living room, dining room or bedroom. Move your throw pillows from the sofa set to a chair. Finish off by decluttering the home by giving out what is not needed and throwing away unused things.
