BY FRANK NAMARA BUGESERA — One child died instantly while five other people were admitted at Bugesera Hospital, last week after eating food suspected to have been poisoned, a family member said. The deceased was identified as Vestine Mukabutera 25, while those admitted, all members of Bernard Kayitare’s family, of Juru sector, are; Rosine 20, Louise 15, Uwingabire 6, Francine Ndacyayisenga, 17, and Claudette Bayavuge. At least three women have been arrested by Nyamata police in connection with the incident. Police first arrested one suspect, Jacqueline Mukakagina, of Twabagarama cell- Juru sector, on March 8, but later working on her tip, they arrested two more women suspects, whose names have not been disclosed. A police official, who asked not to be named, said the motive of the suspects was yet to be established.Ends
