Major General Paul Rwarakabije has been appointed the Commissioner General of Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS). Mary Gahonzire was appointed the RCS Deputy Commissioner General. Rwarakabije, has been a commissioner in the Rwanda Demobilisation and Reintegration Commission (RDRC). RCS is a merger of the National Prisons Service and Travaux pour d’Interets Generale, (TIG) – Community work carried out by convicts of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Ends
