Punish those who failed to declare wealth

Editor, I read with disappointment the news in yesterday’s issue of The NewTimes headlined: “180 fail to declare wealth”. The civil servants are reported to have refused to declare their wealth to the office of the Ombudsman, despite repeated pleas.Not many months ago, the Ministry of Labour and Public service cracked the whip on civil servants who failed to declare their wealth in time. Some of them were accused of under declaration.
