Children should be proud of their nationality

While growing in another country, it was so scary and almost impossible for one to mention that we were Rwandan. It was because of the ridicule and bullying faced by being known as a Rwandan. The classmates would always make fun of you, call you a refugee and remind you of how you don’t belong to their country. Some would poke fun at Rwandan students saying that they hid in the belly of the fish to transport them to other countries since Rwandans were poor.
