Editor, July 9, 2011 marks the birth of the worlds newest nation - Republic of South Sudan. Liberation and Independence always come after a great struggle. India went through the same to gain her Independence. Rwanda, 17 years ago, went through a traumatic situation during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. South Sudan, too, has gone through decades of strife to finally gain freedom. South Sudan can borrow a leaf from Rwanda and try to emulate the determination with which this great country has worked together to attain an impressive level of excellence. Rwanda has shown the world what it takes to rebuild a nation and South Sudan would do well to follow this glowing example. Clarence FernandesChairmanRwanda Renaissanceclavinmarketing@gmail.com
