ORGANISED UNDER THEME, “Arise Rwandan Mother”, Chayah Gathering Revival is set to kick off its three-day national revival gathering that will take place on August 26 to 28, from 3pm at Christian Life Assembly (CLA), Nyarutarama. Organised by Chayah leadership, the gathering aims at bringing together women to worship, pray, and hear God’s Word from different preachers of the Gospel. It is an inter-church gathering that exists to awaken women in Rwanda and beyond, through fellowships, intercessions, and soul winning and massive gatherings to encounter God’s presence. Birthed in 2019, under the leadership of New Life Bible Church, this inter-church revival movement is founded by Women in Rwanda, who are willing to pursue the heart of God for their nation and beyond. ‘Chayah’ is a Hebrew word that means revive or live again. “Chayah envisions gathering women for God’s presence in Rwanda and nations beyond. It is a movement of women leaders from different churches committed to gathering people of all backgrounds from Rwanda and other nations, irrespective of their race, languages, culture, and age, to pursue the move of God in our days,” said Pr. Florence Mugisha. Among many pastors who are part of the gathering includes Pastors Hortense Mazimpaka, Lydia Masasu, Lydia K Tayu, Jane Mutesi, Rev Dr Charles Mugisha, Apostle Joshua Masasu and Rev Faithful M Mutbivu among others. Worshipers James and Daniela, Guy Alain, Fabrice and Maya Nzeyimana will also sing at the gathering. The gathering took place for the first time in 2019, however due to the pandemic the gathering paused. She announced that the gathering is now back and will be coming each year every last weekend of August.
