MINIRENA staff visit Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre

KIGALI - The Ministry of Natural Resources and its agencies; Rwanda Natural Resources Board (RNRB) and Water Resource Management (OGMR), Friday visited Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to pay tribute to those who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis.In an interview shortly after the visit, Natural Resource Minister, Stanislas Kamanzi, moved by what he saw at the Memorial Centre, told the press that “what happened to Rwanda was a horrific tragedy which serves as a lesson to the whole world that people need to learn in order to avoid the repetition of such tragedies.”
