The two outer posts of this closure mechanism are fixed, and the middle post rotates between them. When open, the three posts form a ‘T’ shape which holds the cuffs in place between the swivel post and the back of the decorative cufflink face. To use these cufflinks all you need to do is hold the two sides of your cuffs together. The cuffs must not be overlapping like you would close a button shirt, but rather facing back to back, or inside to inside. Once in place, slide the closed swivel posts through both holes towards you, and swivel the post up on the side closest to your thumb.
