Jacque’s Vibes:Rasta Man’s love

Bango, a rasta man in the neighborhood shows indescribable love to his spouse. Every new day ushers in more and more volumes of love to Claudine, a mother of four children. With the negative perception we have about Rasta men, I keep thinking if he is really one or just trying to look like one of those big legends-Bob Marley, Lucky Dube e.t.c, who would not want to be likened to the big stars anyway. Wait, come to think of it Rasta men believe that life is about loving and living. A typical Rasta man will show love to needy and helpless because it is part of his culture. He would never fail to give maximum love and attention to his spouse. One would question why they can afford to love and build their relationships on solid foundations which are not expected of them by very many ordinary people. We should acknowledge the fact that Rastafarians believe that they should be ever loving, ever faithful and ever true; this helps them to sail through their relationships easily. That could explain why Rastafarians stay longer in their relationships compared to other relationships of other people. As the slogan says “One love,” Rastafarians always love and live as one in one accord. This is evident with their togetherness and love for each other, they are always eager to know how their fellow Rastafarians are, what they are doing and work together for their well being. “Rasta men are passionate and very romantic, they love whole heartedly with no strings attached, when they have decided nothing can get into their way,” says Rita, a student at Mount Kenya university. Girls who have had a chance as one may call it, to date Rasta men have a lot to say but they will swear to any one that these men will completely define love in one’s life, practically and theoretically-I must say. Rasta men tend to always have good intentions, because to love and be true is their culture, they certainly have to up hold it against all odds.
