It has now come to my understanding that some Rwandans will not shy away from lies and rumours because it seems to be the order of the day. I wonder how a grown up in his/her senses can actually sit people down and begin a story they know very well that it does not hold any water. In fact, my actual fear is for those who believe the false story or the rumour because they are the ones who spread it the most. They are the kind of people you cannot trust with the truth because they are used to rumours and lies. Imagine such cheap rumour that Pastor Paul Gitwaza owns a hummer. This rumour or lie was not meant for praise or good intentions, no; it had some other meaning behind like causing disrepute to an innocent public man like Gitwaza. There are people who from the word go have given themselves to be used by Satan to tarnish other people’s names and character in pretence that they are cracking jokes, when actually they are being misused by the devil. Such persons are the kind who eat by lies and survive on cheap stories and old women’s tales. They rotate around in people’s houses spreading rum ours for survival. But the question I am asking is, why do we give them our ears to stuff in their rubbish? Pastor Paul Gitwaza is not a fool to buy a hummer when he is in a rented house and even if he owns the Hummer, so what? One does not need to have sleepless nights because Gitwaza has this or that. Pastor Paul Gitwaza drives a land cruiser bought by the church for his use. If he happens to leave Zion Temple, he will not go with church property. He is only the steward of God’s property and people of which if he handles badly will be accountable for and this is a fact he knows very well. Please I beg you, leave our pastor a lone; it is us who know all a bout him better. Look for some thing else to rumour about if that is the carrier you have chosen. KIGALI
