World of criminals is becoming narrower

Editor, I would like to commend the Norwegian Police for arresting Sadi Bugingo, a fugitive linked to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. It makes me proud when I see the world finally taking action against these killers. The culture of impunity has no place in today’s world. But it can only end once and for all if the right thinking members of society collectively fight it. We cannot claim to be fighting criminality when some countries are playing a passive role. The effects of the Rwanda genocide against the Tutsi are still fresh in the minds of many survivors. The survivors can only live in peace if justice is done. The world has an obligation to help Rwanda and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) try all the suspected killers. Even today, some of the perpetrators of the Genocide are still hiding in Democratic Republic of Congo and have continued to kill or maim innocent civilians. Their agenda is to kill.
