Avega conducts trauma management training

AVEGA-Agahozo, an association of genocide widows has trained hundreds of people to manage trauma cases that may arise during the commemoration period.Rwanda has, today, officially started the 17th commemoration of the Genocide.Odette Kayirere, the AVEGA Executive Secretary, said that most association members and other volunteers are trained on how to handle psycho-social issues and trauma.
