Councillors urged to fight graft

Musanze- District Advisory Councillors in the Northern Province were recently advised to conduct periodical assessments of district authorities as a way of speeding-up the implementation of government programmes.Speaking at the closing of a two-day retreat for all the district councillors from the province, Governor Aime Bosenibamwe warned councillors against seeking self interests, intrigue and conflict which, he said, characterized previous councils.
