Heart of Africa Trading, a Rwandan logistics company with presence in China, is set to start operations in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, providing reliable trade, clearing and forwarding logistics services to importers and exporters in Rwanda and beyond. This was announced by the Rwandan embassy in Abu Dhabi during the final leg of the UAE-Rwanda Business forums and investment roadshow at Dubai Chamber on Friday, February 24. The agreements aimed to strengthen partnerships and deepen joint economic relations between the two countries. According to official figures, investments by UAE companies in Rwanda reached $248 million (over Rwf273 billion) at the end of 2022, a tenfold increase in a decade. There are more than 10 UAE companies registered in Rwanda.
