Rwanda’s qualification chances rests on her performance in the remaining three matches; Burundi (away), Benin (away) and Ivory Coast (home). The win moved Rwanda into third place (three points) while Burundi dropped to the bottom. Meanwhile, Botswana became the first team to qualify for the 2012 CAN following their 1-0 victory over Chad. Victory moved the South African nation to 16 points in Group K which unlike other groups, has five teams.Second placed Malawi is seven points behind. In Group J, Uganda maintained their lead at the top thanks to a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau. Scotland-based David Obua scored the only goal of the game to take the Uganda Cranes to seven points.
