Earthquake preventive measures required

  Dear Editor, No one can exactly guarantee that an earthquake will never hit Rwanda again. The recent earthquake that struck the Districts of Rusizi and Nyamasheke in the Western Province left over 40 people dead and many homeless. It is against such a catastrophe that the department of disaster preparedness needs to be alert and put in place measures which will reduce or prevent the numerous loss of lives and property.
