The Rwanda tennis federation technical director Thierry Ntwali who also doubles as an active member on the CAT development committee has advised Djibouti to train more coaches if their level of tennis is to improve. Ntwali made the call after conducting a 10-day level one coaches’ clinic in Djibouti. The clinic which winded up on Monday at CMG tennis club in the city of Djibouti attracted twelve participants. On his arrival at Kigali International Airport, Ntwali pointed out that one reason why the level of tennis in Djibouti was still low is because the country has very few coaches. The level of tennis in Djibouti is still down partly because the country has very few coaches. Ntwali noted. Like other courses, the 10-day course organized under the umbrella of the ITF/Solidarity Olympic, was geared towards mini-tennis skills and development of National Coaches. It was Ntwali’s second coaches’ clinic in Djibouti after conducting a similar one back in 2003. Besides Djibouti, Ntwali has also conducted similar clinics in Rwanda and Burundi.Ends
