Parliament passes Prosecution High Council bill

KIGALI - The Chamber of Deputies, yesterday, passed the bill establishing the High Council of Public Prosecution.According to the draft law, the council’s bureau shall be chaired by the Minister of Justice or Attorney General.Other members of the bureau shall include the Prosecutor General and his deputy, the Ombudsman, the Military Prosecutor General and his deputy, as well as the Inspector General of Police.
