Debating in schools good for children
Editor, I was excited to read in last week’s Sunday Times a story about Riviera school emerging winner of a debating competition. Debate in schools is extremely important to children since they are the leaders of tomorrow. Debating in schools makes children gain self-confidence during public speaking and this culture of debate should be encouraged in other schools.
