MPs pass RPPA bill

The Chamber of Deputies has passed a bill that regulates Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA). The draft law determines the mission, powers, organization and functioning of the public entity. The central procurement agency is mandated to  advise the government and other public procurement organs on policies and strategies in matters related to public tenders, according to a statement from parliament.
