Silos project to address seed shortage

The 10000 tonnes cleaning, drying and storage facility being constructed by government will increase food security, an official said.  The Silos project is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture.John Habimana, the Technical Director of ABCD, the company overseeing the construction of the project, said that 50 percent of the work has been completed so far. “Farmers have been incurring losses as a result of producing yields that exceed demand during the harvest season.
