Senate endorses Wild Life Bill

KIGALI - The Senate, yesterday, unanimously approved the Wild Life Bill providing for the compensation of victims of stray wild animals.The bill was previously contested by some lawmakers for lack of clarity, especially the exclusion of children from compensation.Presenting the amended draft to the Senate, the Chairperson of the committee in charge of Security, Sen. Valens Munyabagisha, said in case the victim is a minor, their parents or guardians will process the compensation.
