Rwanda’s amazing roads

Roads are a very fundamental infrastructure in any particular country. Good roads save time, reduces traffic, reduces wear and tear of cars, reduces accidents and most importantly improves the economy of country. The outstanding thing about roads in Rwanda compared to all East African countries is that they stand out from the crowd. They do not have portholes; they are well maintained and have a minimal traffic jam which is uncommon in Africa.The beauty behind Rwandan roads is splendid considering the fact that the land topography is constituted by hills and valleys. For example, the walls of the sides of the roads have a beautiful curved natural stones making then unique.The most interesting thing is that it does not take so long for them to be constructed or repaired. This shows how the county is focused and aware of the developments that results with good roads. One vital example is the Kisimenti roundabout in Remera which took approximately ten days to construct without causing major disruptions or locomotive diversions. The other exquisite thing about Rwandan roads is that they are transforming the murrain roads to all-weather roads hence help farmers to transport their goods easily to the market. It should be a lesson for other African countries to borrow from Rwanda one of the secrets to growth development, good road infrastructure.
